I agree with the speaker about what precedes after changing your body language because she speaks about how people change when they fake their body language to make them more dominant and confident. I have experienced my peers and teachers responding to me differently when I started to ease up and show calm and opening body language in class. At the beginning of freshmen school year, I was always uptight and shy and will make little gestures so I can hide my face and body, I always made my self small in class. My teachers noticed and they were like there’s nothin to worry about don’t be shy, open up a little bit. When I opened up and gave off loose body language by moving around more and not shriveling up, I started to ask more questions, were more pen with answers and gained a lot of confidence. Alongside my changes, the teachers seen that I gained more confidence and at the end of the year congratulated me for the growth and not be shying no more.

I do agree with the speaker that changing your body language can be beneficial. People usually make assumptions about you in the first few seconds of looking at you. If your body language suggests that you're confident and powerful people will think that of you. I like to sit sit upright and tall I always believed it made me feel better. I didn't understand the logic behind it though.

I agree with the speaker that changing your body language can change the way you think and act and other peoples views on yourself because I believe that your body language is a representation of your confidence level. A personal experience that relates to a specific example from the Ted talk is when my school had professional day and we has to dress professional and we learned about how our body posture can affect us at a job interview. We learned that you want to always make yourself look confident by sitting upright and being alert.

I agree with the idea that you can fake it ‘til you make it because when I first started using loose body language in class I was still shy and worried about what others had to say about me, however, as the year went on that shyness faded and I had morphed into this independent and strong speaker in class. Watching the TED talk made me feel more uplifted and empowered to express myself more through body language around people, it makes me feel more optimistic towards change for the betterment of life.

No I don’t agree with the idea fake it till you make it because that means your not being your true self and your pretending to be someone your not which is not good for your health at all. It made me think I don’t identify myself with enough importance it just has no effort.

I agree, some people just don't have confidence. This way they can appear to be. People will start treating them like they are confident and that will lead them to actually being confident.

I agree with the idea that you can “ fake it til you make it” because sometimes while “faking it” you can turn that into a daily habit that you just naturally adapt the habit. Watching the Ted talk changed how I identify myself because it made my more aware of my posture when I’m around people. I feel confident that around other people but I never really aware of my posture. The Ted Talk helped my to have awareness towards it so I can always look and feel my best.

Yes I agree with the speaker that changing your body language can change the way you think and act/or how it make other people view you. A personal experience that could relate to a specific example from the TED Talk is of someone is just rude overall. Their body language would come off as completely negative and people would view the person as disrespectful.
