Food is collect from local manufactures or is donated, must be food safe but can have a short date. Is 1 step up from a food bank. The customers would have to be referred to make sure the right people can access the shop.

community based supermarket selling short dated and donated food for less than rrp. legal consideration here.
called 'ad hoc' which is a play on the random nature of the stock. 
we are a board of directors for charity which runs ad hoc. we are pitching to investors for monies to support project. perhaps for a year? need to check financials.
decided not to use 'referral' element as it adds lsyer of admin and costs. may be seen as isolationist or adds stigma.
rather we locate in an appropriate community to serve all who want to shop. but there will be restrictions on amounts bought to restrict misuse for profit. legal consideration here.
Jonathon and Love more to decide on shop location, as it works in with their proposed areas of research. we suggest in Bradford Shipley area as most of us know area.. but obviously open to suggestions.

We have been given an extension due to my current  situation. our pitch is now 31st Jan.
we propose this time scale:
Jan 6th. email all group finished research area.
we joint discuss any amendments and any help. spend next 11 days finalising.
Jan 17th. whilst other class pitch. we meet at uni and practise our pitch.
spend next 2 weeks tweaking and thinking of answers to potential questions.

each person needs to keep references for bibliography. their section is 7 to 8 mins and be prepared for ad hoc questions. tee hee

10am -6pm
Look to employee 3 full time staff, so the shop always has a full time member of staff. Also use the volunteers as previously mentioned

Base the salaries on the living wage.
I have devised a shift pattern to fit with these times 
Will look to purchase a company van to collect donations and products from the outlets that we deal with.
This will also allow us in the medium term future to deliver products any community group we may wish to help.

We need to create an interest in what we are trying to do 
I will need to base some costing on this 
Do we have chance to meet up before our next session at uni or will we have some time on Thursday?

Further to the meeting between me and Jonathan on the 17/01/19. I have further established that The Real Food Project(TRFP) and the Sreagulls differ in the way they deliver their services to intended recipients. Therefore while the end result is to intercept food which would otherwise be destined for landfills we can be the only shop within Shipley radius who would make that food available to customers at highly discounted prices Seagulls and TRFP would not pose a threat as competitors. 1)TRFP’s location is outside 7 mile radius from Shipley. 2) Seagulls also do not have an active local shop within Shipley. There is a gap in what producers driven by profits perceive to represent value and what low income customers(societies) perceive to be of value. Shops like ASDA, CO-OP and Tesco which are near by are mainly driven by profits for its share holders and therefore we can close that incongruity by satisfying low income family needs.
