Take everything off walls

Obtain boxes-Beth will provide printer boxes. Joe will have some totes for use.

Sort Materials

1. Throw out broken or no longer functional items

2. Section off an area for items to be used until the end of the semester

3. Box up everything else

Label all Boxes with your name and class. Beth will put all of your items on a pallet with your name and wrap them in plastic and put it on the loading dock

Call Beth when you are ready for pick up

Items need to be sorted again

Small items need to be boxed appropriately

✔Storage shelving needs to be determined useful or garbage=--throwing it out

✔If shelving is to be kept it needs to be taken down

New Periodic tables should be given out

Go through trash and make sure it is all good to be thrown out

Wire needs to be sorted and boxed

Old Stuff ("antiques") needs to be taken home or thrown out

Items in cabinets need to be marked as keep or toss

Petri Dishes and other center aisle items need to be boxed up

Create list of items that are needed until the last week of May.

Post that list on padlet.

Cleaning supplies should be boxed and labeled

Go through all drawers and cabinets and sort items

Multimeters need to be boxed

Balances will need to be kept until last week!!- Don't touch yet.

Pack up any remaining items

Relocate items to pallet or your home

Items no longer used can be tossed

✔Cabinet with crucibles should be packed in an organized fashion

Chemicals need to be boxed according to the organization system. (I1, I2, etc)
