For our game/performance/event AMR trip we decided to attend a UMich volleyball game. The game ended up being very competitive and went four sets long, Michigan ending with the win. We had a lot of fun watching our first volleyball game together, this was our favorite AMR adventure of the semester!

Lowertown Bar & Cafe, Broadway Street, Ann Arbor, MI

For our restaurant/eatery AMR we decided to go to Lowertown Bar & Cafe. We all got lattes and they were not only very nicely decorated, but they tasted amazing as well. It is the perfect study spot to get some work done while also catching up with some friends.

Through all of our AMR adventures, there were a few big takeaways for our learning. First, it gave us the chance to explore campus and learn more about different locations and events that we wouldn't have went on our own. Second, it allowed us to get to know people outside of our friend groups and create connections with each other.

Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, 434 South State Street, Ann Arbor, MI

In the assignment of UMMA/Kelsey, we chose to go to Kelsey museum of archaeology. Our mission was to find food&culture related things. So we took the picture at the Roman-Egyptian crops and grain mill. It is a great place to go for fun. The exhibition there was wonderful and with high quality.

Lower Entrance to Nichols Arboretum, Nichols Drive, Ann Arbor, MI.

We went to Nichols Arboretum for the assignment of "Outdoors". We arrived at two different entries and met at the central part of the arboretum. It was amazing to have a place of nature in the campus. After that experience, the Nichols Arboretum becames one of my favourite place to go between classes.

The one we enjoyed or appreciated most is the experience with Kilff Keen Arena. We watched a women volleyball game there, it was Michigan vs. Akron. The gamewas wonderful. It was my first time to watch our volleyball game. I believe it is a great opportunity for new wolverines to watch the game and develop their school pride.

For the Haunted history/college lore assignment, we decided to go to the Burton Memorial Tower which is right in front of School of Kinesiology Building. Personally for me, the the experience was not the most exciting one, maybe due to the fact that I came from a sports business conference and my mind was occupied with the stuff that I learnt in the conference. The tower is said to be haunted by a popular campus folklore which says that it houses a spirit of a student who died by suicide many years ago. Overall, a good 5/10, given that we all were there on time and had a quick chat about how our week was.

We really appreciate the opportunity to explore the campus throughout this AMR adventure, and after going through various locations across the campus, the changes that we would like to recommend are that for some adventures, there should be a surprise "Mix it up" adventures where the groups are changed so that students get a chance to interact with other people in the class too. This would allow students to get to know other perspectives and will also help them to make new friends during the adventure.
