Pali luahine, Luahine lived on the Pali back of the Maunalua fishpond. There she occasionally annoyed the people when she was a moʻo. Pele got upset with her and drove her away. Luahine then went to Mānoa and was spared by Pele. She chose Pali luahine as her home. Luahine had two sons- Kumauna and Palihala. In this what there are three stone- the lower one is Luahine and the two higher ones are her sons. 

According to Pukui, Pali luahine is a back of the "little green hill" Luahine came there with her two sons. The sons stones are called Pali Luahine. Moʻo lived there even though those people are not moʻo.

    * During the trial, Kaha was advised by the two spirit sisters to tear the leaves in order to prove Kauhi that she was indeed alive, but also so the poe-poi-uhane will not catch the two sisters
