I know you are a believer in the idea that wealth is power, but every person, wealthy landowner or not, deserves to have the same rights as any other person. You ruined the plantation based economy and reduced our profits due to the lack of sugar and coffee exports. We lost several troops due to your initial resistance and when we attempted to reclaim Saint Domingue. This has also led us to becoming more susceptible to Spanish and French forces seeking to enlarge their territory. Fear of British global monopoly has compelled me to sell my Louisiana Purchase to America.
