Sometimes I don’t really know what to talk to them about. Because my Chinese is not very good, I sometimes struggle to find the words to try to talk to them. Sometimes I don’t really know what they want. For example my grandfather, he sometimes has trouble standing up after sitting for too long. When I want to help him, he say he doesn’t need help but I see him struggling and I don’t really know what to do.

Especially when my parents quarrel. When they quarrel, everyone is tense and on edge. We cannot enjoy our meals properly because we are uncomfortable and we don’t really know what to do.

24b: How do you think you can overcome these instances?
I guess communication. I can start talking to my parents and try to help them resolve their conflict. Like explain what I think and tell them that whatever happened, we can get through it together as a family and we should not quarrel.
