I watched the documentary last night. It was very informative. As regards your questions:

causes: burning of fossil fuels/deforestation

who? it will impact on all of us in the future/the young people

Solutions: plant more trees/use other sources of energy, wind/solar/water power

I had some questions about how effective solar power is in the UK and also the cost of this to the consumer.

Final thought; everyone should watch the documentary.

I had already watched this documentary when it aired, and had a feeling of claustrophobia. Today, knowing that future generations are ready to fight for our planet, makes me feel very hopeful. The technology to help shaping the future is already there, we just have to use it. Rossella

My goodness, that has filled me with dread, I fear for our planet and future generations. Can we trust governments and world leaders to work together to implement the change necessary. I think some of the suggestions for individuals to make changes need to be addressed at higher levels - for instance, the consumer shouldn't have to invest in more expensive 'better quality' white goods - changes should be imposed on manufactures to make better quality items that are guaranteed to last! And stop air freighting food then we can't buy it! On a more positive note - it is wonderful to see the consciousness of our young people - this gives me hope - and we still have time!

My greatest fear is that increasing inter-nation instability, global inequality and conflict, accelerated by the impact of climate breakdown, will 'do for us' before the climate does! I am convinced that a top-down global redistribution of wealth and justice is the only solution - we need to use our votes this year, and more importantly our voices and rights to protest. If we are not part of the solution we are part of the problem!
