Not only is choosing to do their work a choice, but behavior is also a choice. I found this interesting and keeps away the unwanted power struggle.

I love the idea of Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo and Pickle work you have implemented in your classroom! I think this is a fun but effective way to organize students work and implement choice as well!

Your choices that you offer your students are creative- must do (mustard), catch up work (ketchup), etc. This is a great way to keep students involved and give them their own voice in their learning!

I really enjoyed choice when I was younger. I think that it is really important to give student different opinions in the classroom. Therefore I think the power of choice is super beneficial for students to understand and utilize.
