I put bottles, tins, and jars into the brown bin; grass, moss, and other appropriate lawn items into the green bin; and paper and cardboard into the blue bin. This is better for the environment, because the items can be recycled rather than just going to landfill.

Sustainability is ensuring that, without compromising the abilities of future generations to meet their needs, everyone's needs are able to be met. This can be achieved with plastics by either pelletising the plastic, or, if they are unable to - for example, it being contaminated, or it being unable to form a seal - for whatever reason, depolymerising the plastic and repolymerising it - which is a process that can be done with entirely renewable energy sources.
