         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>Creativity or Innovative Thinking<br></em></strong>Source: <a href="https://thepinterestedparent.com/2017/02/make-explore-paint-rainbows/">https://thepinterestedparent.com/2017/02/make-explore-paint-rainbows/</a><br>This activity gets children exploring with rainbows.&nbsp; More specifically, how a rainbow is created by using a CD and water.&nbsp; This art activity gets them using paints, focusing on what colors they see, and wondering about how a rainbow is created using just a CD and water.  This activity could precede a lesson about the colors within white light.</div>]]></description>

Students design a robot while also observing the art their robot decides to create.  Every piece of robot art will be different! </div>]]></description>

Using paint along with the pendulum better helps students see the swinging motion that occurs and how gravity is also an acting force.  This is done by creating a design on the paper below.  This activity could precede a lesson about pendulums.</div>]]></description>

This is a great way to introduce students to the various colors within the dye of markers.</div>]]></description>
