People wanted to applied this scientific ideas into making machines that change peoples lifestyle, by changing the way things were made. 
This was all great but the urban working-class became more poor and this was really fast. This was a massive change for all.
People were going to the big cities to work in the factories, they have awful conditions, and that was because they were too many workers but not enough houses. They lived like animals.

Identity was made up of 3 things "Race, gender and class"; the race in this one was the great chain of being, its a pyramid of classifying people in relation of their race. The gender was about what women and men were supposed to do depending their gender. The class is like another pyramid but about your social class.
Morality said "in order to be accepted as an elite, you must ACT like an elite" this was made by speech and manners,  clothing and high moral standards.

Consumer capitalism: companies should make money but not only for their benefit but for the weakest members too.
How to treat the rich: the rich care about honor and respect not about money, so government star understanding "the vanity of the heart" and "the motivations", they gave them honor and status, in return of them doing good things like funding schools, hospitals and paying well to worker.

Mill´s utilitarianism says that we can only judge the moral value of some action depending of how much happiness cause the persons involved.

When his life got better he realized he was a genius journalists, he always remembered all the time he suffer and use it in a clever way. 
He put nice characters in the awful places of victorian England.
His first job in the blacking factory is described in David copperfield 
He uses his own experience to get people to feel interested and sympathetic to the plight of others that they normally had been emotionally very distant from.

And with Adam because in specialization they could put this workers that are miserable in something they are good in, this will make them more happy, and things are done in a better way, and this exact point is related to Mill because, because bosses at making the specialization they are making people happy and they are making a benefit for everyone, their actions are morally correct, then in consumer capitalism, like we said Charles at people feeling engaged they would pay better so they are not only making a benefit for their own but for the weakest too.
Social Darwinism is related to British imperialism and Adam because in British imperialism only care on fitting into the high classes and being better than other and controlling and having the most power possible, in social Darwinism was created the "social Darwinism" this means that capitalist catalog themselves as more fit to control the world this one are related in the speaking of power and controlling and who is "better", they compared everyone to see who is more power or the fittest to control. This is also related to Adam in the last points, because, in how to treat the rich says that rich people care about honor, respect, power and status, rich ones catalog themselves as better if they gave them this 4 things, and if they think they are better, they think they can have power and control workers as they wish.
