The first time Norway found oil.
- 22. July 2011- Terror attack by Anders Breivik.
- 9. April 1940 Norway got attacked by the German.

French point:
- The french revolution 1789 14. July.
- Something with church 1985
- 1918 the end of the first world war
- 1945 the end of the second world war.
- 2002 changing currency from French money to Euro.

Difference/ similarity
- French found oil in Carabinen.
- French rarely eat pizza, while we in Norway eat a lot of pizza (Grandiosa)
- There was a terrorist attack in France, Paris in 2015, Like Norway had in 22. july 2011.

- 22th of July 2011, terrorist attack.
- 10th of July 1995 a Norwegian star was born. Ada Hegerberg!
- The black death in 1350. Killed over 70% of the Norwegian population.
- The national day of Norway. 17th of May in 1814. We talked about our traditions (russ, 17. mai tog, champagne frokost)
- The murders in Kongo by Joshua French and Tjostolv Moland.

Their points:
- The terrorist attack in 2015 in Paris. There were a lot of victims , but Nicholas and Thomas live far away from Paris so they were not scared on their behalf.

- 14th of July in 1789 the french revolution ended and they got their national day. In 1789 the poor people in France took the castle and the king of paris and destroyed it. They usually celebrate the national day with their families and while they are watching the military march and the fireworks.

- The Eiffel tower were built in 28th of January in 1887.

- In france, the black death killed 30-40% of the France population.

- France collaborated with many nations during the second world war and made a lot of money because of this. 2013]]> 2019-05-06 07:19:54 UTC https://padlet.com/nils_hakon_nordberg/v37nbt8ofkuv/wish/357070876 By Lise - Tuva G and Mikail https://padlet.com/nils_hakon_nordberg/v37nbt8ofkuv/wish/357072889 They didn't seem to know about the dates I gave such as the opening of the Eiffel Tower (1889), the capitulation of Germany (1918 and 1945), the right to abortion (1979), the abolition of the death penalty (1989), France won the football world cup (1998) and the entering of the euro (2002).

I learned that there was a terrorist attack in Norway in 2011 that was very very shocking for them. It was a political slaughter because the killer was racist. I didn't know about this event, I guess I was too young to be interested in those kind of news.

Plus, I didn't know about their independance or their constitution which was written in 1814. There were many constitutions in France but the main was written in 1958.

Then, during the world war II (in 1943), some buildings in Norway were bombed by the German. A lot of Norwegian survived and then tried to hide from the bombs.

On the 24th/12/1969, their country got richer. (??)

Finally, I found out that there was not that much difference between the date when the death penalty was abolished in France (1981) and their date in Norway which was in 1979.

So in conclusion I don't know that much about Norway History, they taught me some events and I feel more intelligent now.

The end of the WWI and the WWII were the same for them. Furthermore The First World War started at the same time for both of us.
We told them about the French revolution and the law separating the Church from the State. They didn't know that. And they also learned that we changed our money in 2002.

We've learned about the Norwegian National Day which is on 17th of may 1814. It's different to our National day which is on 14th of July 1789.

Also they told us about the Terrorist attack the 22nd of July 2011, we already knew that as we saw that on TV when we were younger.
We them mentioned the Charlie Hebdo Attack in 2015 and they also knew that.

They talked about The GRANDIOSA pizza day and we told them that we also LOVE pizza even if we don't have a special day for it.

Finally they told us that their country found oil on the 23rd of december 1969. And then we answered that France takes its oil from Arabic countries.

07/05/1814 Independance day of Norway from Danemark they created their constitution .Every year at this day they parade in the city and wearing traditional suits wich are dfifferent depending of differents region of Norway.There we compared with our French revolution when poor people attacked the king castle wich was the ' Bastille'

05/07/1995/ A national star is born , she is the first Norwegian footballer whio had won the "ballon d'or " and inch'allah Berkay will also get it

2009-2018 Joshua French (a Norwegian guy) who lives in Re

and his friends were arrested during their tripp in Congo because Congolese people said that they are guilty for murdered a Congolese civilian .So from 2009 to 2018 they spend their time in Caongolese jail .At the end Joshua killed his friends in jail and as been sent back home in 2018. That is an incredible story we were truely surprised while hearing this tragedy

They chose to talk about the World Cup in 1998 because Norway won against Bresil. I said that the France won the Cup, and it was a little bit better than a match.

I didn't know that in 1949 there was the Great Peste, lot of people die because of this disease. It was close to the end of the World War Two but Norway wasn't comitted in this war.

At the same time as us, in 1905, they got independance and there is a separation between Norway and Sueden, for us it was the separation between Church and state, the parliament voted in 1905.

To conlude, it was very interested to talk with them because I learned a lot about Norway. 23/12/1969: Norway found oil and become more rich.

1881: Abolition of Death Penalty

22/07/2011: Terroriste attack in Norway, in Oslo for political reasons. More than 100 people died. I didn't heard about this attack before.

My five points:
789: Charlemagne imposes the construction of schools(I think it is an important date because this event had many consequences and that's why we are at school today)

24/08/1572: The massacre of the St Barthelemy. The massacre of saint barthelemy is a massacre during de conflict between catholics and protestants. Catherine de Médicis ordered this massacre against protestants

1789-1799: The French Revolution(the population rebeled against monarchy).

1916: Battle of verdun (during the World War I).

The world war II: The Jewish genocide.
