As people continue to grow, their character is also developing. College is a big growing opportunity. For most people, this development stage is the first step of freedom and a time of thinking on your own is required more. It is important for students to develop their character while attending college. Character is often inferred as understanding right from wrong. One's morals and values also come into play. If a student values their college education and what they are working towards, then they should know it is wrong to cheat and allow others to cheat on assignments.
After college, when a student enters into their next step, their character will already be formed for the most part and others will not have more of an opportunity to dramatically change the student's character. They will be able to stand firm in their beliefs while also being able to see other's beliefs but not having to convert. They will be able to stand up for what they want or do not want and fight for it.

Being able to critically think will always be useful especially after college. Making decisions and solving problems come easier when you critically think. After college many opportunities will arise where you must take a stand and thinking critically will help in making your decision. You are able to create successful and logical problem solving skills that are helpful in a workplace. Being able to critical think allows you to see other's views and see beyond your own without judging them. This becomes helpful when working with a group of people or being a leader.
