Other basic (as opposed to acidic) chemicals can be used in place of sodium carbonate, however sodium carbonate is the most common. make 2 solutions , solution A AND B 
for solution A ;SOLUTION A involved mixing of 54g of washing soda with 3ooml in a jar 
FOR SOULTION B ; i mix 16g of ascobic acid and 40g of coffee with 700ml water 10g of salt.
THEN i put them together
made sure they are 20*c then they goes to the tank
