Categories include people, places, history, science, and nature. After watching a short video, students can read the corresponding text that relates to the topic. Students can choose to have to text read to them or read it on their own. To enhance learning, students can research more about the topic or complete the project idea. I have used the parts of speech word games in my class. There are a total of 9 parts of speech quests that build upon the previous quest. When the game is complete, teachers can see the final percentage of correct answers and use the data to pull small groups for reteaching or enrichment.
