In math, we create anchor charts with important vocabulary words. The anchor charts include student-friendly definitions, visuals, and real-world examples, if applicable.

I consistently provide sentence starters to encourage students to articulate their thinking during discussions. Additionally, when writing CERs, I ensure that sentence starters are readily available, either on their desks or directly on their papers.
