Germans started to died because of diseases, because of the winter and because they weren't prepared for a winter like this, Russia took possession over the city of Stalingrad again and the Germans started to back out. Russians took over 90,000 German soldiers as prisoners, a lot of Germans soldiers died when Russians made them walk without winter clothes from Stalingrad, Russia to Siberia, Russia during winter.
