It is a form of language processing. There are 3 advantages of reading that we should know which are we can gain more knowledge, relaxing our mind and fill our free time. 

The first advantages is we can gain more knowledge. With reading, we can know more information that  we did not know before. Reading also can make our brain became more intelligent. As an example, we read about the latest issue, indirectly our general knowledge will grow and make us a person who keeps up with the current issues.

Beside that, one of the advantages of reading is we can relaxing our mind. This is because, when we are too busy reading, we seem to be in our own world and make us forget about our problems for a while. For example, if we are too depressed with our problems, doing the activity that we love can reduce the pressure. like me, because I love reading.

Last but not least, the advantage of reading is we can fill our free time. It is because activities like reading can be done anywhere. In this modern era, reading is not limited to reading the book only, we can also read through our mobile phones. For example, when we are waiting for someone or a vehicle, we can just read while waiting for it.
