Universal theme=  Innocence

Theme= The community is an utopia were no freedom is given. The people in the community are given certain rules they must follow and they think it is normal. Killing a baby is okay to the Community,because they do not have feelings. Feelings are not a thing in The community because they might make a wrong choices. Choices are not allowed in the Community.

who is clumsy made a error and he had been taken out aside for a serious talk with the coach of Asher's behavior. Jonas is frighted of December, because of the important event hat will be coming up soon. because of the ceremony. When Jonas saw a mirror he had simply not bothered to look at himself, it was rare to find mirrors in the Community. During recreation period Jonas and Asher were throwing a apple around, Then they begun a simple game of catch. Suddenly Jonas noticed that the apple had changed. Just for a instant. But then when he got the apple in Jonas's hand he looked at the apple it was the same it was unchanged. Jonas can not talk about his training to anyone nor he can take any medication. Jonas is sill being controlled because of the rules Of the Community but, some rules were taken away for Jonas but now Jonas has some new rules he most follow.
  
The giver gave Jonas a memory of Jonas riding a sled and Jonas experienced for the first time snow, The Giver no longer has that memory. Jonas was curious why there is no snow in the Community The Giver said because of  "Climate Control" pg (106) 
Snow made growing food difficult,limited the agricultural periods. The Giver gave Jonas a other memory and Jonas perceived the word sunshine. Jonas has again experienced of seeing beyond but now with Fiona's hair, her hair had color and the color was red. The Giver gave Jonas the memory of a rainbow now Jonas can see more colors but sometimes not all the time. Jonas wanted The Giver to feel less pain so The giver gave Jonas a fearfully memory. The memory was of a sled going fast but in a intense way with bumps, cold weather, and jagged edges of ice. Then Jonas was in the Annex room Jonas asked for "relief-of pain." pg (138). But Jonas remembered no medication for anything related to his training. The Giver told Jonas that rosemary was The givers daughter and she was the receiver. The giver needed to giver her memories of pain. Rosemary was suffering of the memories of pain so she decided she wanted to get released. Jonas wanted to see a Ceremony of release, The Giver took him to see it. Jonas saw his father injecting a liquid into a baby's scalp vein until the syringe was empty. Jonas noticed that his own father has killed a baby. Jonas  was horrified and had a terrible feeling of pain (pg 189). Jonas did now want to go back to his home.
The Giver told Jonas that he started hearing-beyond, Jonas was confused The giver said "music." (pg 197)
Jonas and The giver made a plan so that Jonas can escape the Community and go to elsewhere Jonas took Gabriel because he did not want Gabriel to get released too. The landscape was changing, the road was narrow. Jonas was riding his bike and Jonas fell of the bike and his  twisted ankle. Jonas was feeling he was close to elsewhere. Suddenly, "Jonas was aware with certainty and joy that below, ahead they were waiting for him; and  that they were waiting, too, for the baby." Jonas is against the Community because Jonas thinks the community should have feelings especially the felling of love. Jonas wants the Community to understand that killing a baby is wrong, but the Community does not know that's a bad thing because they don't have feelings. Jonas also wants the Community to see colors because colors for Jonas are a wonderful thing. I picked this quote because it represents the climax. The quote represents the climax because  the people of the community do not understand that releasing a baby is not okay, it is the way they live. They cant help it because they do not know what they are doing, there are no feelings in the community that is why they don't fell bad.

Jonas felt a feeling of terrible pain forward to emerge in a cry. Jonas did not want to go home because of his father. The problem is that Jonas couldn't take it anymore, he did not like the Community's rules they had for example not having  the right to have your own choice. Jonas and The Giver made a plan so that Jonas can escape the Community. Jonas took Gabriel, so that Gabriel wont get released too.

These quotes represent the resolution because the problem was that Jonas did not like the Community. So Jonas decide to escape the Community and leave it behind and not comeback to the Community and make it to elsewhere.

 ANSWER-- The detail suggest about the role of the announcements in Jonas’s community  is to make sure the people of the community are following the rules and by  pointing it out by not saying their names. Author VIEW POINT =publicly shame people so they obey the rules

The rules exists because  the rule makes the community perfect because if you brag you are saying your success and that is bragging about your success. mistakes. The rule impacts the community by making the community not have any freedom because the community does not let you have freedom and everyone boring and the same. The purpose of  is to not be rude, also the rule is to not make anyone left out of someones success.

Jonas had a feeling of ¨apartness¨ a feeling of being alone. On page 82  Jonas said ¨upon leaving the Auditorium he felt the apartness¨ The audience were whispering. And Jonas felt a moment of hesitation from his friend.

   Jonas was in the annex room then he closed his eyes. Jonas found himself in a grassy place with so much beautiful green tress . Jonas looked up the sky, the sky was blue with so much birds flying in the air, Jonas felt relaxed. Until Jonas saw a bright red looking powder in the sky that pilots were dumping. Jonas curiously followed the red powder. He suddenly heard loud and annoying weird noises that came from a red long car with blue and red lights. Jonas then saw men wearing brown, heavy, dirty clothes. Jonas suddenly heard loud screaming and  people crying, people screaming “help! help!”  Jonas saw children and adults, running for their lives with dirty clothes and with their faces filled with fear. Jonas saw an orange, yellow, red..... Jonas said “wildfire” Jonas was looking at a wildfire for the first time!  Jonas was shocked of how he randomly said “wildfire”. Jonas was in pain of sadness watching the wonderful tress burning and falling and especially family's running to get help, but Jonas never saw something so horrifying, Jonas saw people on fire running asking for help to get the fire of them, a woman asked Jonas for help, Jonas with fear and getting nervous did not know what to do to the woman. The Woman became all back her body was completely all in black, Jonas was crying that the woman was not responding... the woman died. Jonas opened his eyes The Giver looked disappointed, because The Giver gave Jonas an awful memory that Jonas will not forget.

I chose this memory because I think Jonas needs to know about natural disasters because in the Community things are perfect and natural disasters do not happen. Wildfires happen a lot and wildfires are a big deal.
Some wildfires cause homes to burn down or even people to burn.
