I think this is a great option for patients to obtain his or her sleep study. Like all things medical, I believe this is not a method to utilize for everyone, such as the less compliant patients or those with restricted activities of daily living. A criterion I would imagine should be included in the vetting process of patients is his or her support system and who is available to help attach the monitors on and around the patient. For example, the brain wave electrodes appear to be the most challenging with either gel or glue and hair causing artifact in the readings. To circumvent this barrier, the electrodes and hair are separated as much as possible creating a "sticky" cleanup process. Figure A shows the traditional set up for a sleep monitor while Figure B shows an at home device sleep monitoring system (Kwon et al., 2021).

According to Kwon, et al., the need for sleep studies has increased as awareness and diagnosis have increased for sleeping disorders. Despite the rise, it is still estimated that approximately eighty percent are undiagnosed with a sleeping disorder. Two factors that affect those testing, include discomfort in a sleep center versus sleeping at home and the devices used to measure sleep quality. The measuring devices currently makeup numerous straps, electrodes, and connections. The invention of wireless and smaller monitoring devices is on the rise and becoming a more common practice to measure data such as heart rate (HR), cardiac rhythms (ECG), Brain Waves, Respiratory rate (RR), movements or body jerking, and snoring (2021).

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2589004221004296

Alice the Achiever: Alice is a natural leader, leading by example. This not only creates a strong buy in from the team, but also participants can feel a stronger sense of engagement.
Amelia the Adapter: Amelia would be good in sales by creating and growing those relationships. Not only with the participants, but also vendors.
Competition Chloe: Chloe can keep the group driven and motivated to continue to learn and modify the device, but also keep production going with increased sales.
Carols Context: Carol uses her past experiences to learn and can help lead by what has and hasn't worked in the past.
Faith in the Future: Faith can help keep the group looking towards the future. By having both future and past looking at the same item, hindsight is just that much more attainable too!
