I think the theme for Turtles all the way down is mental illness and friendship because in the beginning of the book you can see that it's not a “normal” start, in the first chapter we a thrown into Aza’s view of the world . She is sitting in the cafeteria eating and is obsessing and worrying about this stomach disease she thinks she has and how long it going to take for this disease to eat away her stomach. i think this picture relates to the theme friendship because Aza and Daisy were best friends and there friendship was like no other.
