Pedagogical approach: gamification does not only take into consideration the challanges, levels, missions, but also the components of wonder, terror and involvement that are part of the game.

The teacher as a facilitator: the teacher creates an atmosphere of encouragement and stimulates the students' curiosity.

Structured activities: the activities have to structured and not left to chance or superficially designed, and precise objectives must be defined.

Difficulty of a task: teachers must be able to notice when a task/topic might be difficult for a student to understand, in whic case it is appropriate to identify an alternative strategy to facilitate learning.

Process: to reach an objective, attention does not only focus on the result, but also on the process; in the game dynamics are created trough which students are encouraged to improve.

Entertainment-Learning: gamification activity must be balanced between fun and knoweledge acquisition.

Change: the activities aimed at gamification dynamics presuppose the start of change and clarification processes.

Freedom to fail: any mistake serves the student to implement corrective measures, so it must not be a cause for frustration.

Involvement and collaboration: the teacher must stimulate the students' interest in a subject also by having recourse to a collaboration relationship between teacher-students and students-students.

Feedback: the activity regarding the gamification must contain feedback and rewards that allow the students to have feedback about their choices and actions.
