In n this e-mail, I like to till you about a special event. It is Ramadan Month. It is 30 days and it comes once a year to the Muslim people in all over the world. In Bahrain, we stop eating and drinking for about 13 hours, we go to the mosque. Then, I reading holy Quran and a lot of prayer. After going to the mosque, we go home to eat breakfast consists of puree, juice and porridge. After a few hours, we eat Suhoor and sleep.

At the end of the month, Eid comes, and on Eid we go to pray the Eid prayer.

Hi Hassan! How are you? I hope you are fine. Today I will tell you about my night time event in Ramadan. I help my dad to take the stuff and tide house council. 

I wait my cousins to come to the house. I read the Quran. I always be happy when I read the Quran because it’s the book of Allah. I eat sweets and baklava. 

After we read the Quran we go to our games room and sitting to 12 o’clock. After that we go to sleep and wishing to to have a good nights everyday.

How are you Ali? I hope you are fine. I’m writing to tell you about one of the endangered animals and it’s the Kiwi.

Kiwi is one of the first animals to be endangered at the level of birds, an important animal in New Zealand, which is the animal that symbolizes and expresses its nationality.

 

Kiwi is a non-flying animal that has no wing and has long and strong feet, which helps him to run quickly and escape from danger, which is the only way to defend itself also, beautiful soft feathers cover the Kiwi body. The Kiwi female lays eggs inside the nests hidden between the herbs, and the male takes care of eggs for eighty days.

 

The most factors that affected the lack of kiwi birds were when the main predators arrived when Europeans began to arrive in New Zealand, bringing with them many terrestrial mammals that are now a threat to the kiwi. For example, stray cats, pigs, ferrets, and there are other animals such as rodents, weasels, and hedgehogs that only kill kiwis.

Another devastating effect from humans is the poachers, and this bird has little defense against the New Zealand poachers who hunt them for feathers, skin, and more. The kiwi is also under threat due to the stress caused by pollution, and the loss of natural resources, which is crucial to the survival of the endangered kiwi. Removal of forested areas has reduced habitat and left kiwi populations fragmented across the country.

 

Nowadays there are large areas of their habitats well protected in the form of reserves and national parks, and protect them from the predators of mammals which is the biggest threat to the life of these birds today.

    I’m happy to write this email for you. I hope you are well.
    I am writing this email to tell you about the danger facing by sea turtles in my country.

 

   Sea turtles are facing many problems, the most important is the danger of fishermen and shrimpers, because it get caught in their fishing nets. It also face the risk of eating plastic waste in the sea. The shells that grow on its back is also a problem.

 

   I think people must learn how to help protect sea turtles to save their lives. They have to be more awareness and take care of it, they should keep the beaches clean and they shouldn’t throw plastic waste into the sea. They can volunteer to clean turtle shells from the shells that grow on them. Fishermen and shrimpers should be informed  about the danger of their nets to turtles. The state can establish a nature reserve on the beach where sea turtles put their eggs, as Oman did.

 

   We should protect sea turtles because their presence is important in the marine environment for the continuity of their survival and the survival of many marine creatures.

I hope you are well! I am writing to you to tell about an animal which I want to protect. This animal is the Bahraini nightingale bird. The problem is that bird hunters overfish  this animal , which decreases it in our place. The problem is also that birds hunters are greedy and want to sell the nightingale for money, while they shouldn't do in some months when hunting is banned. We can prevent this problem by issuing laws to protect and prevent birds hunting in some months, providing sanctuaries for care and raising the awareness about the importance of wildlife.

A few days back, I went with my cousins to the zoo . We saw many pets such as parrot, turtle, duck, flamingo and rabbits . And what I liked the most is rabbits because of their small size, soft fur and their bright white colour. There were many rabbits and it caught my attention that they jumped and moved quickly and were free to move, but one of them was tired and could not move. I approached him and tried to give him some water, but he did not drink water either . Then I told the guard about him and asked him to bring the vet to know his problem. The vet examined him and then told us that the rabbit had injured his foot, so he could not move. He brought his pharmacy tools with him and cleaned his wound with warm water. Finally, he gave the rabbit an antibiotic . After two hours, the rabbit's condition improved. I was happy when I saw him in better condition. I gave him water this time and he was able to drink it . I also bought him carrots to eat . I got attached to the rabbit to a great extent and I took good care of him and the guard noticed this and then I asked him if I could buy the rabbit and take him home with me to become my pet . The guard agreed so I bought the rabbit and I was very happy. In addition, the veterinarian recommended me some instructions that I should take to take care of the rabbit .

The Bulbul is the National Bird of Bahrain that is an endangered bird. This bird is threatened with extinction due to indiscriminate hunting and cutting down of trees in which it lives and people trading in the young of this bird.

To save and protect this bird we decide to urging people to stop hunting, capturing and selling the endangered birds. Also Urging people to stop trading small bulbuls. Also  establishing laws to stop hunting and selling Bulbuls and fined it for hunting .
