This week we were given the brief for project 3. We had to develop our idea, creating a concept board, researching our chosen brand and writing a justification for the pop up.
I enjoyed creating a conceptual idea for my pop up, choosing The North Face as my chosen brand.

What I'd Improve on:
I found it difficult writing a justification for my pop up as I felt I needed more secondary research to support my idea. It was difficult refining the ideas for my pop up as they must be realistic.

Tasks for next week:
Next week I must complete my justification to ensure I stay on top of my work. I believe this is due to the confidence I gained when completing my industry placement at Khol Kreatives. I had the opportunity to network with new people and realised that for the most part it’s easiest to just be myself. I have followed up by connecting with people on linked in and I feel confident that I could contact them in the future. I think that at my industry placement I was given the opportunity to solidify my confidence in certain skills. I know that I would be able to approach an interview situation with confidence and be able to adapt my experiences to best fit the role in which I am applying for. 

I still need to improve on some of my industry knowledge and find the motivation to read up on relevant articles. I know that this will benefit my conversation starters when meeting new people within the industry.

When it comes to working in a team, to a Campaigner, no one is unimportant therefore everyone's opinion is valued equally within a team. I am an excellent communicator and love to share sparks of creativity when inspired. 

I am 61% extroverted and likely to become energized by social interaction, however I do appreciate time alone. I am 575 prospecting, meaning I am less likely to be highly decisive and take a bit longer to make a decision. 

My strengths include, enthusiasm, perspective, curious and good-natured. This is beneficial in a work environment as I bring positivity to the team with a willingness to learn and ask questions, yet challenge things I may not understand. 

My weaknesses include, people pleasing, restless and unfocused. I find it easy to get bored when I am not in the right mind set. This is something that I am working on as I continue with my personal development. I have a distinctive background in retail, where I have built strong relationships with management, which has enabled me to explore my interest in styling, having the responsibility of styling the mannequins every couple of weeks. Throughout my role I make an effort to communicate and engage with customers to ensure I fully understand their needs when shopping at New Look and use this information to dictate my styling choices. I have been successful in selling out a number of products that I have featured on mannequins, providing me with the confidence that would be essential within the role at your company. I am confident in adapting to guidelines provided by the brand and I am able to find creative solutions when resources within our store are limited. 

Previously, I have explored how people can maximise the use of a capsule wardrobe to limit over consumption and encourage the expression of individuality through styling. I did this by creating a business plan, with styling and communication as my primary subject factor. I created a physical Look-Book, showing common wardrobe staples styled in creative ways, displaying a narrative. I also created an app, providing Gen-Z customers with inspiration through creative imagery, utilising items they are likely to already own - as I am aware of the impact over consumption has on our environment.
