I absolutely love how art museums change their exhibits. Every time they change there exhibits there's always something new and fascinating to see. I would love it is every time the exhibit changed more information was spread about the new change or additive to the exhibit so if changed and I saw something that interested me I would know when to go and see them.

I also love how in certain expenses you can see the art in the museum and have a chance afterwards to create your own art work afterwards in many different forms. Fir example I went to a scad tour and afterwards we were allowed to create cookie forms of the art in the museum to was super fun I based mine off of the "stand by you" piece.

I don’t like when museums feel stiff. it can be hard to enjoy the art when it’s silent and feels like you have to tip toe around and be extra cautious. I love when museums have some sort of interesting energy or interactive elements that encourage you to look deeper at the art. I went to a keith harring exhibit and the rooms were turned into a huge art piece basically by incorporating his art style around outside of just showcasing his art.

I think it is cool when an exhibit takes you in to a different world. It makes the art much more engaging and interesting to me. If the whole room is decorated with art/ things that relate to the art. For example, I went to the SCAD museum and the exhibits that really stuck out to me were the ones that maximized the space of their exhibits room. Artist, Ira Lombardia had art on the wall and a statue, and it was really boring. Artists robert Wilson and Izumi Kato's pieces seemed to fill the space using sound effects, lighting, decorations, and even making pieces for the little cracks in the brick in one exhibit. Those artists work seemed 100x more interesting to me and was a actually an experience rather than looking at art on a wall.

I like the quiet, contemplative atmosphere of art museums. The space allows for clear translation of ideas between art and mind. That's where the life really is for me. I don't like museums that are overly interactive. When they present the information in such a matter-of-fact way, both in visuals and in writing, it takes away that freedom of interpretation. It becomes more of an amusement park rather than a museum.

I like how you are able to walk through museums and experience art first hand. I dislike most aspects of art galleries and what we confine them to be. There is so much potential with what can be done with art and we should take advantage of that. This is including how art galleries can sometimes be less moody than it’s supposed to be because of lack of music, noise, lights, experience, etc. There should be many more interactive elements and less quiet, but also so there’s not too much crowding to the point people can’t enjoy the experience. A good example of this would be the museum of ice cream in New York. This museum takes such a simple concept, ice cream, and made it into such a unique and interactive experience for all ages to enjoy. Such as the sprinkle pool, several photo opportunities, interactive elements, lights, music, different themed rooms etc. This could be done with art too, such as creating a different room for each theme of paintings and turning it into something truly extraordinary and unique not only for kids to enjoy, but for all ages. This will especially have the ability to present interactive elements of art as something not particularly childish and something everyone can enjoy and learn from. It will show kids that their scope of art is smaller than they had imagined, and give them a chance to experience it without feeling like it’s only something for them, while also showing adults and teens that it’s not too childish for them to enjoy and that they have an opportunity to experience art in different forms as well. Additionally, this would make the artists feel amazing knowing how far their art is going to inspire people of all ages, and turning art into something more exciting for children instead of an uneventful walk through into an art building. This would turn their art into a unique and moody experience and make them feel like they truly have made an impact and created a cool experience for people.

Honestly, I can’t give much opinion on this. I haven’t been to an art museum since I was a kid. Mostly though I just felt like it went by too fast. Like I looked for two seconds and felt I was done.

I think mainly what I don't enjoy about it always is that after a bit it can get a little bit boring. If you aren't very interested in art and if you don't know much about it, it could be less popular among the common crowd of people. I do like the solitude sometimes, and how your able to be left on your own to interpret pieces however you want.

The overall quietness of art museums is nice, but has the opportunity to be unnerving or even eerie in exhibits that are in rooms that are particularly dark.

I do like the idea of letting anyone see famous works and the history of art, as well as art from non-European cultures.

I love the range of different art and art themes that many art museums possess, such as having rooms and galleries for specific people and their work as well as art with specific themes such as historical. However I dislike when art museums push for a more modern and "clean" look where the walls are white, the floor is simple, and pieces are simply spaced out. those types of galleries and museums possess no personality in my opinion.

I think it's important to differentiate between a "boring" exhibit vs a more traditional exhibit. I do like the idea of a museum having music and cool pieces that touch all 5 sense, but I also think one shouldn't discount the impact of sitting in a room surrounded by art...just observing and having the space and environment to think without being overloaded is nice too. I think it's just a matter of balance.

I have rarely been to art museums but from the ones I have been to, I would say that they tend to get a little boring after a while so I feel that more interactive elements would help to keep people engaged in the work and that the spaces should also be very decorative and artsy instead of plain white or neutral walls.

Most art museums are boring because it’s so repetitive, and the ones around here never have any interesting artwork. It’s just boring art that 85% of the time looks like a 2nd grader did it. I guess that a good side is that people get to see places or history that they otherwise wouldn’t have.

I dislike the environment. Most art museums are very quiet and you’ll get looked at funny for being too loud. It doesn’t seems very interesting or like people are enjoying theirselves enough. I feel like it’d be more entertaining with some noise or a more relaxed environment.

Art museums tend to become repetitive and exhausting after the second or third visit. Usually the immersive art or the dreamlike peices intrigue me so that i can let the somewhat boring kindergarten shapes pass by but after a while the overwhelming amount of dislikes out weigh the likes. abstract peices are respected but for such a small space each peice needs to be captivating and hint to some change overtime to keep consumers satisfied
