Kendra Cherry, Mse. (2023) The psychology of what motivates us, Verywell Mind. Available at: https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-motivation-2795378 (Accessed: 20 February 2024).

A verified psychology expert published this article. She proposed various theories related to motivation and explained the definition of motivation, such as why people are motivated, where motivation especially comes from, and the importance of motivation in our daily lives. Moreover, the text clearly explained the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation by listing different examples. The article allowed me to understand both types of motivation fully, and it also helped me to apply the terms to my research when relating motivation to counter-strike 2.

History.com Editors (2017) Video game history - timeline & facts, History.com.
