The walking stick is an example of a physical adaptation that gives itself an advantage within its ecosystem. Overtime, this organisms body has changed to camouflage itself to look more like a stick to hide from predators. This adaptation gives the animal an advantage in its own ecosystem because it can hide and camouflage itself from its predators, allowing it to survive longer.

One example of a behavioral adaptation is migration. Geese migrate south during the winter months to help them escape the cold climate in the north. This behavioral adaptation helps them survive because they do not have to live in harsh winter conditions.
