He tells him that he comes from the North, which is known as hell. The Yeoman is pronounced as the devil in the story, and unsurprisingly, the Summoner and the Yeoman make great friends. The Yeoman tells the Summoner he can take him to hell, where he will find many thieves like himself that can teach him many things.
