• Between Basel and Zurich (including a stop in Brugg), the InterRegio 36 runs every 30 minutes. This train does not stop in Muttenz, but you can change to the S1 at the "Rheinfelden" stop. 
• The S1 also runs every 30 minutes and stops directly in Muttenz. From "Basel SBB" it is possible to take the S3 or the S1 to Muttenz. 
• Between Muttenz and Olten, the S3 runs directly, otherwise various trains run from Basel SBB to Olten.
