This includes time to work together to create a rubric for assessment, including personal versions that support the direction of their work. Give them a voice to take ownership of their learning environment. 
Using 'Creative Thursdays' supports students agency, choosing curriculum and direction. During the process, studetns keep a record of their activities. Obviously, teachers will direct and set specific, unegotioable objectives.
