I especially like that our case study helped show my TK students how to use the application to capture learning independently. Students were able to use innovative tools to take pictures, draw, and respond to teacher activities.

Parents played a crucial part in this case study. We had to educate not only our students but also our parents in using technology. We relied on help from parents or guardians at home to help our students read directions and explore the Seesaw learning app until the students were able to this independently.

We looked at all the different types of learners that we had in our classes through this case study. Specifically, we both had English language learners and decided that it would be best to use a few of them as our focus students for our case study. After the intervention, we learned that these students were able to be very successful with retaining their alphabet with the help of 1:1 breakout room Zoom sessions, Seesaw activities, and parental support at home.

I am still wondering what will happen next school year as we move out of a COVID way of teaching. My TK students do not usually use this much technology throughout the school year but have proved that they are up for the challenge. Should I continue using Seesaw to help my students retain their letters or revert to my old style of in-person teaching?
