The idea that the sun might not rise tomorrow because we cannot prove the uniformity of nature was eye-opening.

The thought of the sun not rising tomorrow was deeply troubling, and forced me to consider the epistemological theories regarding both inductive and deductive reasoning, and their relation to the real world.

I still find it very hard to believe that it is irrational to expect the sun to rise; I feel that, though inductive, the argument for a uniform universe is fairly strong. I am not sure that it is even truly within the capacity of the human mind to expect this, as it violates our paradigm so thoroughly

We believe the sun will rise tomorrow but we won't be sure about whether the sun will rise tomorrow, since we have no ways to prove the facts that exist in the future is true or no, we are using the knowledge from our past experience to deal with the question we don't know.

Does it really matter that we don't know if the laws of physics aren't justified completely and we don't know what will happen in the future? As long as the sun keeps rising, we just continue living our lives.

There is a turkey who assumes that due to the fact that he has lived for the past 5 Thursdays, he will live for this Thursday. However, this Thursday is thanksgiving, and the Turkey does not live - the Turkey was wrong.
