This would involve me not being too hands on with their personal growth and development, while still keeping the integrity of my position of the instructor. 

I would often focus one specific issue for too long and not transition as smoothly into my next topic. As the instructor I need to remain firmly as the focal point of discussion and subtly guide its direction.

It is my hope to strive evermore to still retain my ability to learn. I never want to reach a position in my career where I stop learning and refuse to evolve. From my personal experiences, patience has been the universal translator when consulting with everyday people; it is the effort shown to engage the audience or individual, rather than assuming who they are. 

This invites true knowledge as well as an accurate depiction of their character and skill level. I have learned this lesson through observing and interacting with my younger cousins to which no two people are the same i.e. each having their own style of learning.
This revelation showed me the correlation between flexibility and applied knowledge in direct response to teaching.

             How to Learn 

A day we wake a solemn vow 
A severant to the words I speak 
My work be great to house the minds their parents gave to me. 

And from dusk til dawn I shall not stray the course they will complete 
With solid A's and hopes and dreams their future is as bright as day.

Unbound by prejudice, nor scorn, or envy in this classroom I pray with a joyful noise and hands raised I hope this day be well.

What do you value Jack Wells spake in education I mean. Well I value learning everything that is important I mean. Like how do to taxes and learning the language of the world all these things you see.

Well there is perennialism a blast from the past I say where wisdom from our elders guides us all.

And progressivism where problem solving is key and young minds must traverse this journey be short or long. Although Mr. Burt our principle here at Alfred John breached his first step. I hope he sees our open dialogue and respect from desk to desk.

I enjoy literature, various mediums of art, fishing, long walks on the beach at sunset, but most importantly helping others.

I was born and partially raised in Dallas, Texas where my grandfather became a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of who I am. Through his efforts, I grew a deeper understanding for the importance of education and learned to treasure its lessons. This curiosity flourished into the teaching realm and further pushed me into pursuing a role into education.

My biggest inspiration has been my family members who have guided me on this tremendous journey becoming the learner to an "advanced learning teacher." I value seeing the evolution of students through assisting them with identifying their passions using council and a receptive ear.
