Considering the importance of all children's access to educational services we provide regardless of their needs for extra support, we created this Inclusion Support Policy to support families, children, educators, and support workers in that way.

Our centre is committed to creating a better environment of Inclusion Support according to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Learning Outcome 1- Children have a strong sense of identity. Based on that, we aim to provide a program with a learning environment where children feel safe, secure and supported in all their interests and needs. To do that, we invite families, professionals and educators to share suggestions and feedback about creating learning strategies using inclusive support.

Every Child is unique! And we respect and value all differences in our centre. To create practices with equity that reflect diversity, we are open to listening to families, children, and professionals and creating a program that will attend to all special needs. Each Child has their potential, and our responsibility is to create the perfect conditions for their learning. We want to include all children with additional needs, giving them a voice to share their feelings and interests with us.

Partnerships- Families are welcome to come and share information, documentation, and feedback related to extra needs with us. You can do it by using our app, communicating directly with educators or asking for a meeting with our pedagogical team. We are open to listening, learning, and working with you.

Support Professionals Make yourself at home. Thinking about the Child's right to access support professionals, they need to be able to access services like occupational therapy, speech pathology, and paediatricians in the locus of their learning and socialisation. As a professional, you are invited to come to the room, make sessions in the Child's environment and chat with our educators to create collective goals.

Educators: We have a unique Professional Development Program for educators who want to learn more about additional needs and collaborate to enhance inclusion in our curriculum. We offer training, paid hours, and extra time for planning to ensure that children will receive opportunities to work on their unique needs. Check with our educational leader about the timetable for this program in our centre.

Looking at diversity from the Young Age is an opportunity for children to learn how to live in harmony in a diverse society. "An inclusive environment is holistic and recognises the unique contributions made by each Child and their family. Inclusion lays the foundation for each Child's participation within a diverse community." (Statement of Inclusion of Every Child in Early Childhood Education and Care 2017, p.4).
