GMO's have many good effects, some of which are that we can make some plants immune to pesticides like diseases that can cause famines like the notorious potato famine. Another effect of GMO's are that we are able to stop illness in animals and humans by breeding their genes with other genes that have the desired trait. an example of this is when we train the blood cells of a human to fight off bad cancerous cells like leukemia.

There is a very large social debate on weather or not GMO's are good or bad. Everyone is different with their opinion on GMO's.

GMO's have many bad effects, some of which are that GMO's can be very unpredictable like a scorpion that has been grabbed by its stomach but it still has its tail to sting you with. Another bad effect of GMO's is that they are very hard to perfect and can be easily disrupted and changed.
