Samuels of University of Montevallo published an  article providing a teacher's perspective on CRP classroom strategies benefits and barriers. Feedback was gathered from a  voluntary and diverse group of 200  K to 12 teachers serving low socioeconomic schools in a large urban setting. Participants attended two three hour sessions over a four month period.  The first session was designed to build on CRP understanding and related components.  The second session consisted of small focus groups comprised of four to five teachers with diverse backgrounds serving a variety of grade levels. In the focus groups, teachers read, reflected and shared on CRP strategies as presented by Villegas and Lucas (2007).
