A roller coaster is broken down to five parts.
Starts of with biggest amount of energy.
The first loop attracts kinetic energy.
The second loop is smaller due to lose of energy.
The centripetal force allows the cart to go threw the loops.
The cart looses all its energy and slows down due to air resistance and friction.

How do different forces affect roller coasters?

Acceleration: The speed starts out extreme but as you ride it slowly decreases.

Balanced and Unbalanced Forces: As you ride you stay in your seat by gravity pushing you down and acceleration pushing you up.

Centripetal Forces: During the ride as you go through loops you won't fall out of your seat.

Energy: At the very beginning of the ride your first loop you gain potential energy as you go up and kinetic as you go down. You also gain air resistance and friction at the end to slow down the cart.

Force: Throughout a whole roller coaster ride you get a push to get you from the beginning to end. You also have a pulling force to get up on a loop.

G: G is much like acceleration but is the a amount of speed you gain per second.

Gravitational Force: Without gravitational force you would not have much movement. Gravitational force depends on the amount of mass two objects have.

Inertia: This is the state of a cart being in motion then not. It all comes down to mass

Mass: Mass is the weight of one or more objects just like the people inside of the ride and how much the cart weighs.

Momentum: When more people ride a roller coaster it seems to go out of control because of all the mass and control it has.

Period: An example of a period is the amount of time it takes to get from one loop to another.

Velocity: Velocity is the distance and speed you go in a certain direction like the amount of time it takes to get from one side of the coaster to the end.

Weightless: The amount of weight a certain object can hold.
