         <description><![CDATA[<div>Teachers have created salt water circuits that they use to discuss desalination plants.<br>Teachers have also used red cabbage to create a pH indicator that students can use to test various substances.  The pH indicated by the red cabbage solution can then be compared to the pH derived from a pH meter.</div>]]></description>
