As a student of Monash Indonesia, I feel like there is lacks of adjustment in terms of materials, assignments, and timelines for our subjects. The following is just a personal experience and is highly subjective, but just incase you would like to know more about how some students experience studying in Monash Indonesia I would be happy if you give it a read. Regardless thank you for being a representative of Monash Indonesia!

Most of the time we had to cram up so much knowledge within the span of 2 hours weekday session, which reduce our time to comprehend and compose appropriate questions. We either have to set up meeting with the lecturer or wait until Saturday to ask these questions.

In terms of assignments, there were also many occurrence when the assignment is already released but the materials is either haven't been released or not explained yet in class. Although we can mitigate the impact of this issue by reading text book and searching online one remaining issue still remains... which is the lack of feedback in between assignments.

Especially for assignment that is "sequential" not having my feedback for assignment 1 before assignment 2 is released doesn't feels very pleasant. I feel increased anxiety and self-doubt every time I have to start working on the next assignments. Even if the assignment is not "sequential" I believe knowing what I did wrong or could've done better will help me produce better work for my next assignment.

I think all of these issues is attributed to either our limited teaching period or lack of adjustment with the approach to delivers subject materials and assignment format to suit our timeline. I'm not sure which one could be changed but I hope it will get better in the future!
