We will possibly using this rubric to do a weekly grade to monitor students. We already assess students on many individual skills (such as meeting benchmarks) so this will fit well with what we already do. Students will need these skills for upcoming Humanities presentations too.

HUMANITIES - Working on Presentation and Delivery skills. Assessment will occur intermittently in the core classes depending on workshop times and project flow.  We as a team are committed to  doing this at least 2-3 times per 9 weeks. One way this will look in our classes is in an assigned workshop having an oral communication grade that will come from that workshop.

We will focus on this within workshops, giving informal feedback on both content and questions. We can begin with having students focus on instructions and being able to recall procedures and information provided from facilitators.  The next step is have students begin providing this same skill with their peers in academic circumstances.
