His body was found at the bottom of a Cliff that was known to have been frequented by gay men. Scott's death has been looked into several times and his brother, Steve, refused to believe it was a suicide. In the 1980s and the 1990s, some of the police were also known to have been unwilling to help gay men who had been assaulted, or rule their death's as homicides.
