Kali: Good start with utilising a source for your question. Solid opinions on the subjects discussed.
Joshua: You started speaking. You haven't really contributed more meaning to the conversation. You been saying, "Yeah, I agree that x is y and z is w." You've cited sources, but it doesn't do anything. You didn't diverge or change, or continue the conversation.
Myla: Half-done answer for first question of the seminar. It's not really well thought out; your answer was cheesy. Nice return to thought and solid answers with your first question.

Sydnee- If you are uncomfortable talking, act like you're with your friends. It makes you less tense. Don't deflect questions, but ponder it and be inspired by it. When you do that, you will always have tons to say. When you're uncomfortable, don't think about all the things that could go wrong, think about all the things that could go right. It's natural to be pressured to do right, but mistakes make us learn, so be willing to learn from your mistakes.

Daija- Way to connect to the text. That was amazing. Your comments always keep the conversations going. Invite more people in. The way you study your evidence is very amazing. You do exactly what Mrs. Eckert told me, "Seek first to understand, then to be understood." WAY TO GO!!! You are so natural when you speak, that it is amazing. You never let your butterflies show.

Arianna- Way to keep the conversation going. You might want to invite quiet people in. Your body language shows that you were very attentive and it shows that you take every question to heart. Way to connect today to the story.

Kali: As a child, you usually do not like to your parents. You made a great outside connection related to this. "As Romeo and Juliet's life went downhill, fights often were occurring. Do teens think of suicide and danger now as quickly as Romeo and Juliet did?" Outstanding debatable question! Things don't often turn out the way you plan them to, but you have to learn to get through it. Juliet was pressured to marry by Lady Capulet because those were the standards for that time. Girls were married off at a young age. Romeo and Juliet didn't notice the good things in their life. They weren't even thinking straight when they committed suicide because they were DYING to be with each other at any cost.

Arianna: Some people date as a practice in order to prepare for something serious. "Parents try to train us as we're young..." Great connection! Capulet was cruel when he threatened Juliet for refusing to marry Paris.

James: When you obsess over something, you block out the truth and are not easily set off track. As much as you may dislike it, you need parental guidance.

Atley Walker III- Maybe work back to the text to support your answer but way to speak up early. Nice save way to act like you read the play. Started off strong but slowly moved out of the conversation.

James- way to agree with someone but also give your own version of there answer. Way to relate a generic question to a specific instance.

Michael- Way to start it off Michael. Great questions and way to keep the conversation alive.

Kali N.- Great citing and questions, just talk a little more. Overall great commentary and conversation starter. Great questions. The input from personal experience is amazing just keep it up. Great entrances into the conversation
Michael S.- Starter, Great! Backing up your point is great, but draw evidence. Discussion leader, keep it up. Don't let the discussion go stale. Great entrances and interjections. I love the questions.
Atley W.- Responsive and explanatory. Cite evidence and you're golden. Good text reference, but cite directly from the story to get that grade. Connect evidence.

Joshua: Very solid outside source connection, but what was the purpose? That could've been used for more than just a little idea to throw in the circle. Remember to add debatable questions or ideas into the conversations. Everyone already repeats the original, be the one to change that.
Myla: Myla suggested new questions from an outside source! Good job! Her thoughts were clear and easy to understand. She also left the question open for new ideas. When you say something, try to invite more people in or support the side no one agrees with. Conversations need strong opposing forces to keep going.
Bella: Bella successful carried the question along and helped to clarify Atley's thoughts. Bella has clearly expressed her opinions and brought in new people to the conversation with their ideas and opinions. Bella also used words and phrases from other people to connect ideas together. Although your ideas are strong and very good, try helping the other side you may disagree with. There are varied opinions that continue conversations and if everyone continues agreeing, the conversation has to be changed.

Myla: Did a great job in bringing in an outside source and starting a conversation. Asked deep questions keeping the conversation going.

Bella: Asked a great question: Do you think Romeo and Juliet were in love or lust? Had great opinions to add to the conversation.

Kali: Contributed to the conversation with outside source. Added to the conversation when it died down.

Daija- Good way to jump in the conversation and get your word out there.
Joshua-Jump in the conversation. agree/disagree and add your input. You brought out an outside source, which is great, but you didn't say anything about it. Next time, explain the article you found and say how it connect the the topic of the seminar.
Atley- good answer! Nice way to bring out an outside source. You also explained it, which was good. Keep answering questions and adding your opinion to the conversation.
