In the story 'Green City,' we learned that communities can come together and rebuild their community stronger when a natural disaster occurs. In the story on page 9 it says, "But some people saw this opportunity as a fresh start". Although there wasn't much left standing in the town, the community came together to rebuild a greener city that is safe for the environment and built their town better than before.
