MY TASK

I were assigned to explain about ihsan.

• Comes from word حسن

• Believes that Allah see what we do

• Even it's a simple and smallest things

• Even we're alone or in the crowd

• Allah still can see us

There are 2 levels for ihsan :

1) Musyahadah

• Worship to allah as if we see him

2) Muraqabah

• Worship in belief that allah sees us

• so wee need to ikhlas in the prayer and strive

• So that, we will be a good muslim and not doing maksiat

Highly Preserved Book

• There are 4 books :

  • Taurat

  • Zabur

  • Injil

  • Al-quran

• Only words in quran are preserved and still same as thousands of years ago until now

Complete book without any lacking

• explain everything

• Contains informations about every aspects of life

• A reminder to follow orders from Allah

• Those disobey instructions will get the worst doom

• Always taubat and recite al-quran as the remover of sin

The 6 Pillars of iman

• Fourth: Beliefe in Rasul

  • God sent the messenger to be a murshid only

  • To worship God and teach his ummah

  • Be a role model

  • Mukjizat : Al-quran

The practice of prophet

• Gratitude to Allah

  • even the smallest things

• Seek forgiveness from Allah

  • Taubat many times even if you fall onto same sin again

The concept of ihsan & it's relation to islamic eschatology

• Muhsin - kind people

• Want to be a muhsin :

  • give kindness to other people

  • Give as much as you can

  • Do only because of allah

Example of prophets that practice the concept

Nabi nuh :

• Live 1000 years

• deliver da'wah because of his majesty's faith

  • so got the title of muhsin

  • Dakwah day and night (950×)

Nabi ibrahim :

• break the idols using strategy

• Dakwah to his father (Azza)

• Slaughter his son

• Burned in the fire

" every believer is not necessarily a muhsin, every muhsin is certainly a believer "

Nabi yusof :

• Repeated muhsin (5×) in surah yusof

• Once seduced by Zulaikha

• to control anger

• Sunnah rasulullah when feels angry

  1) If sstand, then sit

  2) if sit, then lie down

  3) if lie down, then take wudhu'

Adab with parents

• This is to educate, discipline & define

• It's not a quality, it's a process

• Imam ibn qayyim says : Whoever neglects to teach his child that which will benefit him, and leaves him without any guidance, has wronged him gravely.

Difference between adab and akhlak

Adab : manners (attitude that people show)

Akhlak : morality ( quality besides on the heart)

Example of prophet :

Prophet of Ibrahim

• DieHe consistently use kind and gentle language to preach his father

• Because his father worship idols

• So, we need to use respectable words parents

• Be humble, don't feel yourself great

• Be kind even though our parents was harsh

• Keep on making doa towards parents

" If you know the important of adab, you would pray to allah for more adab instead of wealth "

foundation of faith for all Muslims, and a Muslim’s faith isn’t true or valid until the believer has deep belief in all six pillars of Iman

After some time, those Books were corrupted by the people, so Allah sent down the Quran as a last Revelation and Guidance for humanity

Beliefe in the messengers of Allah

They were created from light and were created, before humans, for the purpose of worshipping Allah.

• It will strengthen their faith, learn more about Islam, and reflect on their relationship with Allah

• I'm so happy with this usrah and hope that with this we wil be a better muslim in the future and as a student

Ibadah

• engaging in acts of worship can help one tu acquire hikmah.

• Involve humanity, sincerity and devotion

Objective of hikmah

• Develop deeper understanding of the religion

• Live in accordance to what their teachings

Niyyah - intention or motive behind an act

• Differentiate between the acts that are solely performed for the sake of allah and the sake of others.

How to set a right niyah

• Sincerity

Amal - practice of performing good deeds and acts of worship

How to apply right amal
