         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Feast of Epiphany Some Irish call it little Christmas women get the day off and the men do the housework and wash the dishes<br>2. People put a large thick candle on the sill welcoming Mary and Joseph and only a girl named Mary can blow it out <br>3. Like in the U.S. children hope that Father Christmas leaves presents for them.<br>4. the Wren Boys Procession is when Young Men and women dress up in homemade costumes and go house to house carrying a long pole with holly on the top, singing a rhyme about a wren bird and are sometimes accompanied  by instruments.<br>5. St. Stephen's Day is after Christmas and when there is football matches and horse race meetings<br>6.After the Christmas meal, bread and milk are left out  on the step as a symbol of hospitality.</div><div>7. children leave out sacks instead of stockings<br>8. they leave out mince pies and a bottle of Guinness for Santa<br>9. Irish women bake one seed cake for every person in the house for the feast of Epiphany<br>10. They have  Christmas pudding.</div>]]></description>

They have a thing called little women's christmas on January 6th where women stay behind on house work.<br>4. It is considered bad luck to take down your christmas tree until after Little Women's day.<br>5. Some children have to find there presents that are hidden in their room.</div>]]></description>
