besides music, i enjoy movies, tv shows, books, journalism, poetry, makeup, video editing, and video games. i'm open to anything, but my favorite genres are horror, romance, and sci-fi. the two above in particular have impacted my life greatly, but all of the media i've consumed play a part in the person i am today.

if i'm not writing my own music, i'm listening to it. these are just some of my favorite albums/EPs. some of them i listen to so i can relax, others transport me to a new world with their writing, and the rest are just fun to listen and sing along to. they vary in genre, but they all make up a part of who i am.

my parents both work abroad, my mom works in dubai and my dad goes to school in canada. this means that in a way i am the third parent of my younger siblings.

there's many reasons why i like the media i consume. for the most part, it's entertaining. it distracts me from real life for a little while. it inspires me to make my own media or to share my interpretation and thoughts of certain media with others to create and strengthen bonds with them. media is fun to analyze, for it teaches me lessons or leaves me asking a million questions. but best of all, i always learn something new about myself whenever i consume media which is always a spectacular thing to be able to experience.

a lot of the media i find myself enjoying has their own influence in the things i love to do. like how reading a good book makes me want to write, or listening to a good song in a movie or video game makes me want to practice guitar so i can play it myself.

i often find myself inspired after i consume media. in a way, it has helped me improve in the hobbies i enjoy. it gives me confidence in my own work. when i see myself in the media i consume, it makes me feel understood. it makes me experience a whirlwind of emotions that i never knew i even had. overall, it's a beautiful feeling i'll never be able to properly describe but will always be grateful for.
