They will have a worksheet that they will then  record their numbers. To record their numbers they will have to roll one dice for the numerator and the other dice for the denominator.  After they record their numbers they will add their two fractions together.

I will tell a story about how these two students were using repelling words to other students. We will demonstrate the  pepper  repelling experiment. students will see how pepper attracts(  nice words)  and spread(bad words) with water and dish soap.  They will  get into groups to discuss with others and record with words that are nice and bad words on the smartboard. I will then have a magnet game where they can see what words are attracted to the magnet and which one is not repellent.  If the words are repelling, it will throw it back to them!
