Sustainability is a process or a state that can be sustained for a long time. The sustainability of human society consists of ecological sustainability, economic sustainability and social sustainability, which are interrelated and inseparable parts. I think environmental protection is an important aspect of sustainable development. We need to control the population, protect the environment, the recycling of resources and other conditions to carry out economic and social development
economic sustainability——Recycling the use of renewable resources, at the same time to pursue the improvement of quality and efficiency
social sustainability——Social sustainable development is people-centered, providing people with a better survival, enjoyment and recreational life, and solving the problem of common development of material and spiritual civilization
ecological sustainability——Reduce environmental pollution and damage to the environment, maintain environmental quality to provide a comfortable living environment for human beings
Of course, from the perspective of my major. There are many aspects of the film prodiction process that are damaging to the environment. For example, outdoor framing when film and television shooting. In the film shooting, we often choose scenic spots with good scenery to shoot in order to present the effect. However, many buildings and plants in the scenic area were damaged after the production was completed. In terms of art, it is right to show the beauty of the world and the beauty of the scenery through art design. However, we shouldn't destroy the environment and change the ecological structure for the sake of art. This is a wrong approach. I hope to start from film and television props and post-production, reduce the consumption of props in the real scene environment, and use more renewable energy as materials. I believe that this can better reduce environmental pollution and protect our ecological environment. We should work together for sustainable development

What have you discovered or realised about the sources evaluated?

I studied three sources of my relevant major, including sustainable production issues in the film industry, ecological movies with climate as the theme and sustainable design of environment. I analyzed and evaluated the sources respectively through story articles narrated in media interviews, articles searched in academic magazines and articles searched in Wikipedia.

Do you think they are reliable or not? Why (not)?
I think the ecological movies about climate change is a reliable source of information, while the other two are not very reliable.

How do the sources compare to each other in terms of reliability?
In terms of reliability, I think ecological film is a very rigorous academic paper. The author and background information are clear. Its target audience is suitable for academic researchers, and its language and wording are rigorous. The content of the article is also supported by evidence, which plays a research-based role, and the annotations are very clear. I think the interviews on sustainable production tend to be more for the general population and all the people involved in the film industry， and play a propaganda role. As for Wikipedia, its content articles are for reference only and can be changed by anyone, so they can't be used as reliable research.

How would you use the sources? (for background info, in an essay / report, to provide data for your group pitch etc, maybe not at all?) Justify your decision.
In my opinion, I will apply the academic resources of ecological film to my academic paper, while the other two related sources will be used for group discussion and data analysis, so that we can further study and evaluate.

For such equipment that needs to work continuously all day, reserve of standby energy is very important.
