We each got diaries which we would write in everyday about anything we wanted. Nothing was graded, nothing was looked at. It was just for ourselves. I now had science and history classes where I had to write essays. I had to use the same statistics everyone else used, which no longer made my writing different. Then in English class soon started to be like that too. Your essay had to be about the analysis of a character or the plot of the novel. During therapy I was recommended to start a diary to move all the thoughts in my head to paper. As I started a diary again, I found myself feeling nostalgic. I am not fluent yet, but hopefully one day I will be. This new language has gave me many new perspectives on my English vocabulary as well. Not every English word has an exact match to German, and vice versa.
